The house is located on Castle Road. It is a large detached 6 bedroom property with 3 bathrooms and a lovely garden. This property has great character and has been refurbished to a high standard.

The single room is cosy, yet contains all of the creature comforts you would expect including single bed, internal closet, chest of drawers, small desk and chair and a TV point. This room is perfect if you travel light and do not have a lot of stuff or for someone staying for a shorter period. This room is located on the first floor at the front of the house, and is also available now.

THE LOCATION

The location is ideal if you need access to Bitterne, the City Centre It is perfect if you work in Hedge End or are a student based at the University. It’s a 3 minute walk to local Tesco Express and a 20 minute walk/6 minute bike ride to Bitterne station. It is also quite close to Thomas Lewis Way which provides convenient for access to M3 and M27 motorways. It is also less than 2 miles from Southampton Airport.

If you prefer going on foot, the house is walking distance of Woodmill Activities Centre and Riverside Park; lovely for jogging and taking a stroll in the Spring season. This is the perfect shared house retreat that is in a quiet environment away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. The air really does smell fresh due to the high volume of trees, greenery and it is one of the highest points in Southampton.

IS THERE PARKING?

There is free on street parking available! Parking is a real issue in Southampton and the road is not permit based.

WHAT ABOUT PUBLIC TRANSPORT?

There is a bus stop just 5 minutes walk on Woodmill Lane where you can catch the Bluestar 16, City Red 7 and U9 buses. Bitterne Train Station is also a 20 minute walk or 6 minute bike ride away.

All bills are included. You simply make one payment each month. There is a Virgin Media TV in the lounge and Fast Wifi. Fortnightly professional cleaning service of communal areas included in rent.

We are a throwback to how business was done many years ago, and place tremendous faith and trust in our customers (tenants) to look after the place and pay the rent on time. Property is a people's business after all and our vision is to cultivate strong working relationships. 
Agents are landlords are no longer permitted to charge admin fees. We stopped doing this over a year ago. We also go one step further and do not charge for a deposit. We understand that in this day and age, some folks are unable to stump up close to a thousand pounds before they can move in and some people do live month to month. Our preference is for a UK based Guarantor.

TELL ME ABOUT THE EXISTING HOUSEMATES

All the housemates are working professionals. Ages range from mid twenties to early sixties. There are four males and 1 female. Nationalities are British and Caribbean descent - a real cosmopolitan household!
