Comfortable double room available in a fantastic shared house in a nice residential area in Solihull, conveniently located for Jaguar Land Rover, the NEC/airport and buses to Birmingham city centre and Solihull. Rents are fully inclusive of all bills including superfast (150MB) broadband and a weekly cleaner for the communal areas.
The house is located in a residential street close to the A45 Coventry Road. There's a large Tesco just 5 minutes' walk away, and also nearby are other local shopping facilities, pubs, restaurants and takeaways, as well as numerous bus routes.
The entire house has recently been completely refurbished so everything is shiny and new.
There is a large shared, fully equipped, kitchen with lounge area and 42" TV with Freeview, and a separate laundry room with washing and drying facilities.
The available room is located downstairs and has its own ensuite shower room, and is fully furnished in classic pine: a double bed with good-quality mattress, wardrobe with large drawer at the base, bedside table, dressing table / desk, chair and bookshelves, as well as a CAT5 data point and TV aerial socket.
Most tenants bring their own duvet, pillows and bed linen, but a bedding package is offered as an extra if required. There is a south-facing back garden for socialising or relaxing, and off-road parking for 4 cars plus additional on-road parking at the front of the house.
You will be sharing the house with other professional tenants who are sociable but not party animals; if you want to live in party central then you should look elsewhere, but if you want somewhere you can relax in peace after a day's (or night's) work then it might be just the place you're looking for.

It was supposed to be 3-6 months , but ended up staying for 2! The location and easy access to birmingham/solihull town centre and NEC was great. All rooms are single occupancy only, and smoking is not permitted anywhere in the house. The accommodation is not suitable for children or pets. All prospective tenants are fully referenced; we require proof of income of at least three times the rent.
There is no application fee, but a £100 holding deposit is required before we will consider an application to be complete. This will be deducted from your first month's rent. Either a UK homeowning guarantor (who will also be referenced) or a security deposit (£600 ensuite / £500 non-ensuite) is required. Rent is paid monthly by standing order. The property's (pre-refurb) EPC rating is E.
