Fishermen can enjoy Blythe Waters (a three minute walk across the fields), Barston Lakes or Oak Lane Farm in Barston, both of which are a two minute drive.

Barston offers many beautiful country walks and Wood Lane itself is a tranquil spot, used by very few vehicles or pedestrians as there are only three properties in the lane.

The closest restaurant, The Malt Shovel at Barston, is a two minute walk away and provides atmospheric dining in the bar as well as a more formal restaurant.

The Bulls Head, a 10 minute walk through the village, is a fantastic family pub offering great food and a host of award-winning real ales.
