THE HOUSEMATES/LANDLADY:

- I am a private landlady of over 14 years with the National Landlords Association and not a letting agent

- You have a direct line to me and it is only ever me that you deal with

- The house is designed for young professionals looking for a Home and More Than Just a Room Let where you never know who you will be sharing with from one month to the next or whom your landlord/letting agent will put in with you!

- These rooms rarely come available and get snapped up quickly due to the great location and quality of the property, along with the care taken to find the right mix of housemates and to involve the tenants in picking who moves in; which is also why my tenants tend to stay a long time

TENANT TESTIMONIALS– see below to give you an idea of their time at the house:

LYNDSEY

"Julie has always been a great landlady fixing things very quickly and doing the regular health and safety checks.

Sackville is a great house. Fantastic location great size rooms and I've always felt safe.

We have been very sociable tenants that have made the house a home.

Late night chats with a beer ... movie nights with pizza or trips out in town.

I have really enjoyed my time at Sackville its definitely been my favourite houseshare."

KATIE

"I have lived at Sackville Street for 4 and a half incredibly happy years. Sackville for me wasn't just a house to rent, it was a home where I have made some incredible friends for life.

Sackville itself is in an amazing location, just a 6 minute walk from the front door to being on the station platform (trust me I timed it!), 3 minutes to alocal supermarket and 5 minutes to the heart of town. Everything is easy walking distance.

The house is easy to keep clean and tidy and there's plenty of space for everyone to hangout together in the lounge, dining room or the garden in the summer. Sackville has always been a very social house - we've had many lovely dinner parties and BBQ parties over the years! Equally, the rooms are spacious enough to have a quiet chilled out night in too.

Julie, the landlord, has been truly wonderful from the word go. She takes great care in her selection of housemates to ensure there is a good dynamic and positive atmosphere in the house, and takes the views of the current tenants into account when choosing anyone for a vacant room. If something breaks in the house she's swift to fix it and will ensure plenty of notice if visiting the property. Not only this, she is a genuinely caring and lovely person, she loves to chat and is very generous with welcome gifts, Christmas treats and nice homeware top ups to make the place feel homely!

A wonderful home and I'm very sad to leave it."

SEAN

"I was at Sackville for 3 and a half years and I really enjoyed my time there. The location of the house is very handy and sharing with three others helped me quickly build a social circle in a new city. Julie is a fantastic landlord - so quick to help when anything goes wrong and she also listened to us when deciding on new tenants, so that the social atmosphere in the house was always there. I would definitelyr ecommend Sackville for anyone new to the city or looking for a friendly Home in a central location! Best wishes."

EVE

"Sackville was perfect for me, I moved to Reading not knowing a single person and left with friends for life and some great memories. Sackville was not only a shared property but felt like home with lovely sociable living spaces (my favourite was the outside patio - perfect for relaxing on summer evenings after work). It is also in a great central Reading location and a stones throw from the Station - perfect for a young professional. I lived there until August 2017 when I left due to a career change.

Julie is a fantastic live out landlord who is very friendly and easy to get in touch with. If you're looking for somewhere to live in Reading I would highly recommend getting in touch."
