Bedsit, Cambridge Street, NR2

We are looking for a single lodger for the self-contained, furnished suite/bedsit in the basement of our Victorian house. The house is situated in the Golden Triangle area of Norwich, 10 mins walk from the city centre and close to bus stops for UEA and the hospital. Tesco and local shops are just two mins away. The suite includes a large bedroom (with beds that can be arranged as twins or a super-kingsize double). There is a small shower room and loo plus a kitchenette (with washing machine, microwave/grill, fridge, toaster and kettle). There is no full oven or hob so the kitchenette is really only suitable for the preparation of light meals. Storage includes hanging space, a cupboard with shelves and two small bedside cabinets with drawers and kitchen cupboards. The basement is accessed via the main house in which we and our other lodgers live. You enter via the front door and walk down the hall to the basement door. Once this door is closed behind you there is complete privacy within the suite. You do not share it with anyone. The staircase down to the basement is very steep. All bills are included for £650 a month. This is accommodation that normally lets on a short-term basis to Airbnb or theatre casts and crew for a minimum of £35 a night (single) or £45 a night (double). We are happy to discuss weekday only or term-time only arrangements. We are also happy to discuss a short-term arrangement. Parking is on the street but you will have free use of a permit during your stay. Please note we are not offering a house share but are seeking a lodger who prefers the privacy of their own space.
