Great 60' vegetarian narrowboat to rent with permanent mooring in Northolt - perfect for a couple. Looking to rent for a minimum. The boat is on a great mooring which has a very friendly community about a 10 min walk from Northolt underground station. A bus the E10 runs to the station and to Ealing (through Greenford), on a regular basis.
The boat, built in the 1980's has:

One bedroom (double bed), generous built in closet space,

kitchen, (gas oven/hob and gas boiler),

bathroom with shower/bath and toilet (Elsan).

There is a seperate living/dining area with a sofa bed, which leads onto a small covered deck area.

Heating is from a diesel burner (easy and controllable), or electric heaters,.


The permanent mooring has:

Electricity and landline/broadband connections.

Free water tap

Use of a section of canal bank where you can put a table / chairs / have BBQ's in Summer.

Car parking space in gated car park.

There are about 40+ boats on the mooring, there is a shower block with two toilets, two showers and washing machine/dryer (token based system). Also a small chandlery shop open three days a week, (supplies gas/diesel/coal etc).

Rent £850 per month excluding bills, paid in advance and one month's deposit plus £50 for each key fob issued.

Council tax

N.B: Currently arranging for some hull repairs to be undertaken. This should take place sometime this year. The repairs will take two weeks, during which time you would be unable to live aboard (arrangements would be agreed in advance). Until these repairs are undertaken, you would be unable to cruise.
