I spent 2 months here after moving to Newcastle. The location was great for getting to know the city with great metro links and walking distance to Gosforth High Street. Marty was a very accommodating landlord and was quick to respond to any requests whether they were repairs or new appliances.

Room is located in a nice cool quiet area, five-minute walk to Regents Centre, where I used to take public transport to the City. I enjoyed my stay at Marty’s property which is very clean, has a fast internet. Especially for those who are coming from abroad, they can walk into the room with a suitcase like me and all the facilities are available.

The great thing about renting from Marty was that if you had a problem with anything he would make it his priority to have it checked as fast as possible. An example to this is when I was unsure of how the washing machine worked the first time I used it so I called him and he guided me through how to use it. Nothing worked and he told me he would get a repairman to check on it the day after. Renting from Marty was just really easy and worryfree.

Located in a serene and secure environment, and a stones throw from ASDA , Co-op and 2 metro stations which makes living less stressful. You also get to live with great neighbours and a wonderful landlord who makes sure that facilities are properly maintained and communal areas sparkling clean. My room at Whitton way was is great condition when I got it. The rest of the house was tidy and well furnished with enough space for us to have our own areas. Cooking utensils were a little old but those were replaced during my time, if there was anything broken or needed emergency attention it was looked into as a matter of urgency. As all bills were rolled into one monthly payment, I found it easy to organise my finances which aided me quite a bit.

This is an excellent property, clean, airy and in a very good area, close to local shops, restaurants and pubs. Ideal to access Newcastle and Northumberland. Martin - the landlord is very reasonable and can accommodate long or short term guests. He is honest and upfront and can be flexible as long as you discuss this with him in advance. The neighbours are also lovely and friendly while out walking their dogs etc. I would recommend this house to anyone coming to the North East for business or pleasure

I lived in the house for over 5 years and never had a problem. Any small issues (such as repairs) were quickly taken care of by the landlord, Marty. The kitchen is spacious and with 3 bathrooms I rarely had to wait to get a shower. There's plenty of parking with easy access to the A1 and approx. 15 minute drive to the city centre. Co-op and Asda supermarkets are only a short walk away. The neighbourhood is quiet and the neighbours friendly.

I lived in this house for 11 months, during this time the house had a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and was somewhere I (Email Removed After Let) vetting of the tenants was excellent, ensuring a good mix of people in the house. I found the landlord was very approachable and whenever any issue arose dealt with it fast and efficiently, and when I left I had my full deposit in my account within a week, therefore I would have no problem recommending the house and landlord to future tenants.

Having rented a room at this address for 6 months (July 08 to Jan 09), I would happily recommend this address to any prospective tenant. The house is a great size in a quiet area of the city. The neighbourhood is pleasant and safe with two Metro stations in walking distance.
The other tenants I shared with were pleasant, friendly and great fun. They are very welcoming of new people and those that are chosen to move in always fit in well. There were no arguments or issues at all during my time there.
The Landlord is attentive and fair. Any minor problems (such as lost keys, boiler issues) were resolved swiftly and efficiently. The rent was fair for the property, and the deposit was returned promptly upon my departure. He is respectful of all tenants, very pleasant, easy to get along with and is not demanding in any way. Definitely a reputable landlord, whom I would happily endorse to any prospective tenant.
This house is a great place to live. I loved every minute of my time there. The only reason I left was due to work relocation

The house is very well maintained, having been recently refurbished and fitted out with all new kitchen, TV etc, and Marty (the landlord) readily fixes anything required. The cleaner and gardener also ensure that everything is kept in great shape.
