A fantastic recently renovated 6 bed upper maisonette situated just off Brentwood Avenue with its restaurants and coffee shops and of course West Jesmond Metro with supermarket beside it. Lavender Gardens is bright and airy and is a lovely part of Jesmond adjacent to the open green playing fields of Highbury and a short walk across the town moor to uni. Renovations included acoustic underlay to all floors, plus modern insulation to keep bills low, complete rewiring and new plumbing, bathroom and kitchen
The landlord is a Newcastle City  Council ‘ Accredited Landlord’  which means houses are in great condition and have all safety certificates etc and also has two other similar properties nearby if a group of 12/18 friends want to be close by  ( the other one also  on Mayfair Road,  and one on Lavender Gardens two roads down) As a landlord of only 3 houses we focus solely on these three to ensure students have lovely, safe accommodation throughout there Tenancy. All the houses have 6 similar sized rooms  all with small double beds, desk and chair plus wardrobe and chest of drawers. All bed rooms are fitted with black out blinds to ensure a good nights sleep.
For safety all the maisonettes are uppers, but no need to rundownstairs to answer the door as an intercom is provided on both floors to screen visitors and allow access. The houses are all kept in good condition, repainted every year and neutral carpets and walls. All the properties have large modern kitchens with 2 fridge freezers to allow everyone to have a fridge and freezer shelf each, plus a kitchen cupboard each. The kitchens are all situated off the large sitting dining room.  These each have solid oak dining tables and 6 leather backed chairs. The other half of the room has two leather sofas and an oak coffee table plus pictures and mirrors on the wall and blinds röntgen windows.
On the first floor off the hallway ( not through the kitchen like traditional Tyneside houses!) are a bathroom with bath, shower over and loo plus a separate loo and sink, plus two bedrooms. A flight of stairs takes you to the second floor with a central corridor with two bedrooms to either side, all with large velum windows and plenty of headroom as we had all the ceilings lowered to make space. At the end of the corridor is a large shower room with sink and loo. All bathrooms have ladder radiators.
The outdoor space is accessed from stairs to the rear of the kitchen which Leeds to a rear yard with fixed steel bike racks to ensure bikes are safe.
Houses like these are rare to the market and usually snapped up by mid November
