The House

You’ll be living in a recently redecorated, modern and tastefully finished house on a quiet residential cul-de-sac, set back from the main road. The home is peaceful, well-kept and shared with a friendly, considerate landlady and neighbours. Laminate flooring runs throughout the house, with carpeted stairs.

The Room

Located on the second floor, the room is spacious and light, overlooking a quiet, south-facing residential garden. It benefits from:

• King-size bed

• Sofa area

• Desk and chair (ideal for home working)
• Bedside tables and lamp
• Plenty of natural light and a quiet outlook

Shared Spaces

As a lodger, you are welcome to use the shared areas with reasonable consideration for noise and timings:

• Kitchen: Full use of appliances, with generous fridge space and a dedicated food cupboard
• Dining / office area: Available when the resident is not working (Monday–Thursday, 7am–5pm)
• Conservatory: A relaxing dining and lounge space overlooking the south-facing patio garden, perfect in warmer months
• Bathrooms: One shared main bathroom with a powerful shower, plus a separate downstairs cloakroom

Parking

On-street parking is available on nearby roads. Restrictions apply on the cul-de-sac itself (free evenings after 6:30pm and weekends). There is some space in a shared service road at the rear. 

Transport & Local Area

Excellent transport links make getting around London easy:

• 5-minute walk to Morden Underground (Northern Line – approx. 25 mins to Waterloo)
• 93 bus to Wimbledon in around 10 minutes
• 163 bus from the road to Raynes Park Overground (approx. 15 mins)
• 8-minute walk to Morden South train station
• Easy access to the tramlink (Morden Road / Phipps Bridge)

Morden town centre offers cafés, takeaways and restaurants, as well as Lidl, Sainsbury’s, Iceland, Boots and Superdrug. Several gyms are nearby including On1Fitness, Lloyds, F45, the refurbished Morden Leisure Centre (with pool), and Sutton Sports Village.

Green spaces are a real highlight, with Morden Park, Lower Morden Garden Centre (with café and aquarium), and the National Trust’s Morden Hall Park all within a 10-minute walk. Wimbledon Common and Wimbledon tennis events are also easily accessible. Newly added LTA free-to-book tennis courts are located nearby in Morden Park.
