The room to rent is the Starboard Nacelle. The room faces south west and it looks over the Stour Valley. It has an en suite hand basin in a little alcove. It shares the family bathroom with the landlord and, from time to time, a colleague of the landlords. Two of the other lodgers are prone to gate crashing the shower in the family bathroom but I prefer the bath which is big enough for several not to mention that the shower is currently out of service albeit with reconstruction scheduled for April 2019. The room is 17 metres square (which is quite spacious). The family bathroom is 9 metres square. The room benefits from a double bed with slightly sloping headboard in white washed pine and a firm (new) mattress as well as a very large (functionalist modern) desk and a beautiful 18th century Viennese inlaid chest of drawers.The room has a pale fawn coloured carpet and was recently redecorated in a mix of 18th century style wall paper and pleasing green detail.

Rent is payable two months in advance but there will be no deposit taken. For payment six or more months in advance there will be a 2% discount and for payment one year in advance a 5% discount.
