We have let this flat successfully for 20 years and always had lovely tenants who have enjoyed the flat, the outside space and the village-like area of Pimlico. Now, however, we are planning to sell it in the Spring, so are looking for a single, tidy professional tenant who would like to live in central London and importantly is willing to allow the agent to show the flat by appointment (likely not more than 3 or 4x per month on average). About the flat:
The flat has a small separate kitchen (with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, hob, oven etc) and bathroom with a bath and shower over - it has great water pressure and instant hot water. The apartment is centrally heated (heating is included in the rent) and keeps toasty warm. It's on the second floor accessed via an open walk-way and it's own 'garden gate'. It's situated in an award winning, low-rise purpose built estate with green spaces, trees and a church incorporated. There are no properties directly above the flat.
Minutes from shops, restaurants, the Queen Mother sports centre and pool and a vibrant weekly market, this is a very convenient location. You can walk to Westminster in 15 minutes and the West End in 25. Pimlico tube is 3 mins walk, Victoria Station is 8-10 mins walk away. Beautiful river walks by the Thames are 5-10 minutes away and Battersea Park with its great running paths is just a 5 minute run away.
The flat is freshly redecorated with new sofa, double bed etc. There are three built-in cupboards for storage. The floor is wood-effect laminate. The heating and heating of water are included in the rent. Water rates, Council Tax (circa £70 per month), Electricity are payable by the tenant as well as any telephone charges.
The flat is available from October 24, 2021. Although we have been private landlords for nearly 20 years, in this case we will need to use an agent as we are not able to show the flat in person. This won't increase the rent or charges to tenants.
The flat will be let for up to four months using an Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreement.
