This spacious studio has an open plan reception with a double bed and also a sofa and dining table that will seat four. There is a brand new TV and the large wardrobe in the hall should have plenty of space to store any of your things.
The flat is on the first floor of the very fashionable Boss House, a portered building block with a lift. The kitchen and bathroom are in separate rooms. The space is cosy but very functional. The boiler is quite small so the space is best suited for one person or a couple who shower at different times of the day as it allows time for the boiler to heat up water again.
The Bermondsey neighbourhood is an amazing area to walk around and has a huge variety of markets, bars, art, restaurants, and coffee shops. The flat is within easy walking distance from the Maltby Street Market, which is a great spot for food and drinks on the weekends. A 10-15 minute walk away is the lovely Bermondsey street, which has become a hotspot for food, drink, and art options. Check out restaurants such as Jose and Village East, fun coffee shops like F**koffee, and bars like Cecil’s. It’s also very easy to get across the Thames to major tourist attractions via the London Bridge station which is about a 10 minute walk away, giving access to the city via the Jubilee and Northern lines. In that area, you can also see the Shard (or just go have a drink in the Shangri La hotel) or eat your way through the amazing Borough Market.
