The house is a nice 10 - 15 min walk from Norwood Junction stations situatedalong the 410 bus route which take you directly into central Croydon and crystal palace parade /overground rail station in the opposite direction a 5 minute bus ride, which have fast trainsinto London Bridge/Victoria /Islington etc. . Crystal palce has a bus terminalwhich will take you into central London or towards Greenwich. Alternatively ashort journey into Brixton gets you 10 mins away from Victoria on the tube.There is free street parking all around. The house is in a quiet residentialarea surrounded with parks and woodland.Crystal Palace has loads of bars and restaurants as well as independent tradersand a Sainsbury - a couple of minutes away are convenience stores , a pharmacyand some cafes. Sports available at the National Sports Centre in CrystalPalace and a Leisure Centre in Thornton Heath (10 mins walk).There are Yogafacilities in crystal palace, Thornton heath and Norwood junction.
About your Landlord. Although technically I would be a live –in landlord having recently suffereda heart attack I have decided to retire and would not be in the country forlong periods of time as the property is a 3 bedroom the only other resident atthe property would my 25 year olddaughter who is currently studying to complete her masters degree. She is friendly, reasonably laid-back personhence I am looking for a ( Female) person looking for a home rather than a 'show home',who is happy to share the occasional meal but also to respect personal spaces.
