Room in a Shared House, Ladywell Road, SE13

This is a 2 bed house and you would be sharing with just one person. Please note that the pictures do not do this place justice.

The room

Has lots of natural light, is fully furnished with new furniture (wardrobe, chest of drawers and chest), very comfortable double bed with large built in drawers and at the back of the house for a completely peaceful and undisturbed night’s sleep.

The rest of the house

The bathroom, which is right next to the room has a step down, which makes it feel like stepping into a spa. It has a large separate bath and walk in shower.

The kitchen is very spacious with an oven to die for (great for any would-be cooks!) and all mod cons, including a dishwasher (so no fights over dishes) and dining table. There is possibly every type of cooking equipment on the planet.

The garden is in excellent condition, a decent size and wonderful for the summer months.

The living room is spacious and everything throughout is tastefully decorated, with beautiful ornaments from around the world.

The housemate

You would be sharing with Tricia, one of the loveliest people in the world, and her two dogs, Izzy (rescued from Cyprus) and Max (rescued from Thailand). The dogs are very well behaved, sweet and chilled at home and don’t bark. Tricia is well travelled and has had an adventurous life, having lived in various countries all over the world. She is a writer with a big heart and love of animals, she always sees the positive side of everything and is an absolute pleasure to live with, with the perfect balance of being respectful of space whilst always being happy to have a chat and share a meal. Her working pattern is early to bed, early to rise, so this is not a party home. The house is very clean and quiet so someone who fits in with that is required and a love of animals is a must.

The location

A huge bonus of this house is the location – smack bang opposite Ladywell Station, with frequent trains taking you to Charing Cross in 20 mins or London Bridge in 10. It is also a 10 min walk to Lewisham which takes you to Bank or Canary Wharf on the DLR in 20 mins and Victoria in 20 mins as well as more trains to Charing Cross and London Bridge. Also right on the doorstep is Ladywell Park, perfect for jogs or leisurely strolls. Lewisham is a few minutes walk away and has absolutely everything you need, included an excellent TK Maxx, shopping centre etc. The other side is Brockley which has many gems of restaurants and an excellent Saturday Farmer’s market. Ladywell itself also boasts a few nice eateries and a great local – the Ladywell Tavern, which has the best sticky toffee pudding in London.

This is a luxury home, excellently well connected with the world’s loveliest housemate.

Flexible with move in date and also open to alternative set ups such as Monday - Friday let etc. We are also flexible with the move in date as I can move earlier than the end of Nov if need be and Tricia doesn't mind waiting a bit for the right person.
