Room in a Shared House, Green Lanes, N4

A furnished double bedroom is now available in our light, spacious house on Green Lanes a 5 minute walk from Manor House tube station (Picadilly line). Across the road from Finsbury Park, the house is a 3 bedroom maisonette with kitchen, separate lounge, large bathroom, second toilet, balcony and access to a backyard we share with the 2 other flats in the building. The current housemates are all fun, busy professionals in their 30s; Nikhita, Steph and Fergus (a couple sharing one of the rooms). We’re 2 Aussies and an Englishman, looking for a housemate to share our home with us. We are all mates so it’s a friendly social house, but we also respect each other’s space and spend quite a lot of time out of the house (...usually).

The room available is a comfortable and cozy double room with bed, freestanding wardrobe and some shelves installed on the walls as you can see in the pictures.

All the rooms are really bright, and we have leafy outlooks in both directions; you can even watch the sun set over Finsbury park from the sofa. We also have strong Sky broadband, Netflix and we rent the house furnished, but we’d be happy to make room for other things if you have them. Landlord is responsive, fixing things as required when we’ve needed it.

The rent is based on the current living arrangements, with a couple in the house. This is a new set up but we estimate bills will be approx £100 each on top of rent. Bond will be £600.

It’s a great spot; spacious and affordable, with green space nearby and excellent connections to other parts of London. Apart from Manor House and the park, we’re also very close to Haringey Arena Shopping Centre, with a full-sized Sainsbury’s, Argos, Sports Direct, Superdrug, etc. Harringay Green Lanes Overground is about an 8 minute walk north, and we’re also within a 20 minute walk of Haringey and Finsbury Park National Rail/Tube stations (Victoria line, for the win). Woodberry Down is around the corner and Clissold Park is about a 20 minute walk away, too.
