Room in a Shared House, Borland Road, SE15

Room in Family Home (SE15 / Peckham) — In Exchange for Flexible Help | ~15hrs/wk

We're a friendly family of 2 (mother & daughter +1 dog) in SE15 (Peckham/Nunhead area) looking for a kind, calm and reliable person to join our household as a mother's helper / household support - in exchange for a furnished double room + all bills included (worth ~£1,000/month). Available from end of August (maybe a bit earlier, but ideally then).

What I'm offering:
A comfortable furnished room in our family home - the room is on its own floor (top floor) and has a little office/study book in front
All bills included
Lots of free time - this is not a full-time role
A warm, relaxed household

What I'm looking for:
Around 15 hours/week of flexible support, which might include:
Occasional school drop-offs/pick-ups for my daughter Emilia
1–2 babysitting evenings per week
Dog walking
Light household help / errands
Occasional weekend support

Hours vary week to week and I'm flexible with scheduling around your studies or other commitments.

Ideal candidate:
You're a student, postgraduate, or young international person looking for stable, affordable London accommodation. You're responsible, easy-going, enjoy being around children, and are comfortable with a small dog. You'd like to stay at least a few months - longer if it suits us both.

No formal childcare experience required, but reliability and a genuine warmth around children is essential. References required.
