Room in a Shared Flat, Upton Park, E7
Overview
Bedrooms: 2 | Bathrooms: 1 |
Max Tenants: 1 | Location: London |
Description
It is not the very cheapest or biggest room that it's possible to find in this postcode, ( I imagine ) but it is the cleanest, for someone who values cleanliness, and in my experience, most women at least, do. ( Sorry guys, you're just not putting in the effort any more).
The room is a genuine sized double which is towards the rear of the house and is quiet and peaceful. The entire flat has been newly and thoroughly decorated including a brand new cooker.
I'm not the clean and tidy gestapo, but if you're looking for black mould decor, then I won't be able to help.
I noticed that most of the rooms available in or near this price range, have at least 3-6 flatmates or more. The odds of you being able to get along with that many people in close proximity, in London, are, well, about 1 in 3. Those are bad odds.
This flat has just one civilized flatmate.
That means you won't have to worry about:1) queuing up for the shower
2) having your milk disappear when you really really need it.
3) finding mysterious hair in the plughole, and having to send it to a laboratory to confirm whether it's even from a human.
4) putting labels on your food, which is pointless as they don't remember your name anyway.
5) having a face off with Enrique because he hasn't contributed to the bills. Again. (This is made more infuriating by the smell of his dope smoke, because it proves he had the money but blew it on his 'medicine' man.
6) Discovering a total stranger in your kitchen as soon as you left the shower. After you'd stopped shaking, you remembered he was eating the genuine Turkish delight you'd brought back from holiday.
7) Olivers current girlfriend has unofficially moved in officially. The timing of telling her to leave is tricky as she suffers from panic attacks and is now pregnant.
This list can go on, and it does, but not in my flat.
And I do feel for you if you're living that life, but, you did it to yourself.
