We have a light, bright double bedroom available in our lovely split level flat in Stoke Newington. We really love this flat and it is very much a home. Our housemate is moving out after 3 years to move in with her boyfriend, so we are looking for an awesome housemate to join us! The room is available from March 31st.
- The room is £675 pcm + £130 pcm bills (bills include a cleaner who comes every 2 weeks).
- We have a great private landlord, so no agency fees!

About the flat:
Our flat is set within a beautiful Victorian terrace, split level on the first and second floor. It's very safe and located on a quiet, tree lined street.
It's a spacious flat with high ceilings, period features and lots of character.
About the room:
The double room that's available is a good size and light, with a fireplace, sash windows, quiet with a leafy garden view (not our garden unfortunately!). The bedroom is on its own level and also has a separate toilet on that level, which makes it more private. The bedroom will be unfurnished, there is plenty of room for a double bed, large chest of drawers, double wardrobe and desk in here.
About the living space:
We have a gorgeous large living / dining room that we like to spend time together in, with large bay windows and real wood floors. There is a separate kitchen with a small dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine. Large new bathroom with a bath and a great power shower as well as a second toilet. Carpets have recently been replaced throughout. We also have a shared storage / laundry room and attic!
Location:
Set on a quiet, leafy road, but close to all the local amenities and transport links. The best of both worlds! Great location just a 5 minute walk to the bus stops / short bus ride to Dalston overground stations / 10 minute walk to Stoke Newington Station / Rectory Road / short walk to Church Street with lovely restaurants, bars and cute shops. Also a short walk to our local pub, the Axe 🍸🥂🍻!
About us:
You would be sharing with two girls; myself (Jo) I am 33 and work as an Account Director for a design agency and have lived in the flat for 4 years. Liz, 30 is an Interior Architect, and has lived in the flat for 2 years. We both work hard during the week, Monday - Friday regular hours, and tend to be pretty busy so we like to keep the flat chilled and peaceful. This is a great home to come back to rather than a party pad. We really enjoy hanging out together in the evenings though, over dinner, TV, Netflix and a glass of wine! We all met through spareroom and have become close friends, so it would be great to find someone like minded who also wants to socialise and enjoy the great living space together.
We like to look after the flat and keep everywhere clean and tidy, so we would like to find someone who is also clean and tidy too. We do have a cleaner to help keep on top of things, who cleans once a fortnight for £15 each, which is covered as part of the monthly bills. We also have a dishwasher in the kitchen which is always a bonus!
We are both friendly and creative, with shared interests in all things creative, socialising, art, design, fashion, travel and food!
