Room in a Shared Flat, London, SE27

We are looking for a friendly, considerate professional or couple to take a large, bright double room with it's own private balcony and bathroom, in our lovely maisonette in West Norwood.

The room:
The room is furnished with a double bed and storage and balcony table and chairs. You have your own bathroom with a toilet and shower. You also have direct entry to a private balcony that has great views over London. You can see Canary Wharf and the Shard from your bedroom, which is quite spectacular on sunny days and at night.

The kitchen and living room are shared with the 2 other flatmates.
All bills are included in the price including Wi-Fi and a TV licence.

The Flat:
The Flat is split over 2 floors, with a large kitchen-diner downstairs and a downstairs toilet and shower, and a bathroom upstairs. It is located in a safe entry-fob block with off road parking. We have a combo washer-dryer so no trips to the laundrette required!

We are located within 100 metres of West Norwood Leisure Centre which has a fully equipped gym and swimming pool, with doctor’s surgeries and a dentist inside.

It is a 4 minute walk to West Norwood Station, which has direct trains to Victoria and London Bridge in 20mins, as well as other locations including Balham in 8mins for the Northern Line. Brixton tube (Victoria Line) is 15mins by bus. Tulse Hill rail station is only a 10 minute walk away for trains into Blackfriars.

A little bit about the area:
West Norwood has a bustling High Street with all the key stores you need, plus an array of local cafes and shops which are perfect for (Email Removed After Let) is a monthly food festival with all the stalls you can imagine that brings everyone out into the streets. A new PictureHouse cinema and revamped library have also just opened.

Brockwell Park with the famous Brockwell Lido is just a short walk away for lazy summer afternoons. As well as the lovely Crystal Palace Triangle and park.

About the housemates:
Two female professionals who work hard during the day so we are looking for somewhere friendly but peaceful and quiet to unwind in the evenings.

We are friendly and would like to live with somebody who doesn't lock themselves away in their room, and joins us for the occasional drink at the local pub, but we do have quite busy, independent lives and respect each other's space.

We are also clean and tidy so we are looking for somebody who is considerate of others and tidies up after themselves. We don't do cleaning rotas or anything like that, because we would like to think that everyone is adult enough to clear up after themselves and muck in when needed.

Price: 880 pounds a month for a single person, 950 pounds a month for a couple. All bills included.
