Room in a Shared Flat, Heyworth Road, E15

Looking for a new flatmate for my ground floor garden flat in Stratford. The flat is pretty nice, as of course am I. It at the end of a cul-de-sac and there are great transport links from Maryland or Stratford Station which is about a 20 min walk away, or its a five minute walk to the bus stop.

The flat has a huge garden which I am currently filling with flowers, and the room for rent is actually two room as you can see from the pics. There is a small bedroom looking out over the garden, and a larger room attached. The rooms are part furnished with a bed, table and cupboard, but enough room to make it your own, and the rest of the flat is furnished.

Im an engineer in my 30s and am looking for someone laid back with good chat, who is reasonably tidy, though I’m no neat freak myself. I enjoy comedy, a good friendly debate (I'm pretty left wing), and letting my knowledgeable friends win the pub quiz on my behalf while I sit back and bask in the glory. I like meeting new people and am pretty sociable and happy for you to have people over, but I do like my child time as well, especially during the week, so would ideally be looking for a fellow professional.

I'm currently learning Spanish to impress my Peruvian fiancée so if you speak Spanish that is a bonus. I also fly off to Peru quite frequently to visit her, as well as sometimes travelling for work, so you’ll have the flat to yourself occasionally. I'm Scottish, and my old flatmate says I live up to all the stereotypes, and that that is a compliment.

The boring stuff: ideally myself and the new tenant will start a new contract together, for either 6 or 12 months, so you'll need to be checked by the agency. Ideally I'm looking for someone who can move in ASAP.
