Description
Hey you, it's Alessandra!
I know what it feels like to look for accomodation in London - I've been there several times, that's why I will try to be as clearer as possible, and most of all, honest.
SHORT LETS - temporary accomodation - ONLY .
The longer you want to stay, cheaper the price.
THE APARTMENT IS VERY CENTRAL: I'm the owner of a cosy modern built apartment (no rats, no bedbugs, no carpets, no narrow staircases!) in SE1 at walking distance from the stations of London Bridge, Elephant and Castle, Southwark, Blackfriars, Waterloo. As you can tell, it's conveniently connected to go to uni, work, to hang out or to go and come back from the airport.
ROOM IS FURNISHED AND EQUIPPED AS A MINI STUDIO: I'm here to rent my extra room, which is pretty big and equipped with a single bed which can be turned into a double, a dining table, a TV with DVD player, bookcase, wardrobe, desk and armchair.
IT'S ONLY ME LIVING AT THE PROPERTY: There's only me in the flat so you would share the bathroom and the kitchen with me only.
FEMALES PREFERRED: I only feel comfortable sharing the flat with girls if that's ok for you, so I would ask that only women get in touch. It will save both's time!
ALL INCLUDED: No hidden costs, all bills included. included wifi.
WHO IS THIS ROOM SUITABLE FOR: This room is suitable for women coming to London for internships, long-ish touristic stays, visiting friends, familiarizing with the city, retreats, short educational or training courses.
WHY CENTRAL IS BETTER? rent a room in Central London and you will be surprised how much you can save on travel and how easy it is to walk anywhere, especially to the City. You will actually enjoy the city rather than spending your time commuting during rush hour!
WHAT'S IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD? Around my block there's literally anything you might need, AFTER ALL WE'RE IN CENTRAL LONDON: Co-op, Sainsbury's, Tesco open everyday from 7am to 11pm, a Post Office, a dry cleaner, cafes, restaurants, MErcato Metropolitano, Ministry of Sound (one of the most popular clubs in London), a florist, Poundland, a locksmith, a funeral director, two gyms.
ENJOY BEAUTIFUL STROLLS TO ANYWHERE: You can take strolls to London bridge, Borough Market, South bank, and if you cross any of the bridges you're easily in the City or Covent Garden or Embankment!
WHO AM I:
I am almost 25. I am an Italian filmmaker from Venice who has fallen in love with London and I would be happy to help out with advice if you're new to the city (especially talking to you, millions of Italians out there in London), otherwise I like my privacy and I respect others'. I'm not OCD about cleaning, noise etc, but a standard of decency needs to be maintaned at all times, leaving communal areas (kitchen, hallway and bathroom) as the other person would deserve to find it.
ANY MORE INFO OR PHOTO JUST ASK, I TRY TO BE VERY RESPONSIVE.
