I am moving out of my flat in East Ham (Zone 3 District/Hammersmith & City line) and am looking for someone to take over my room and contract from now until 6th of August (can be flexible/renewed from August onwards).

You would be living with Marie, a Master’s student/working professional and her lovely 14-year-old cat, Dempsey, in a lovely 2-bedroom Victorian semi-detached flat, conveniently tucked away just off the high street and 5 minutes away from East Ham station.

The room:

Quiet side of the house

Plenty of sunlight

Faces the garden

Furnished: bed with memory foam mattress and storage space underneath, chair, chest of drawers

The house:

Open-plan kitchen and living space with dining table, sofa, and a large bookcase, oven and cooking unit, bathroom with bath and shower

Garden outside with table and chairs - beautiful during summer!

Transport and location:

5 mins walk from East Ham station (District and Hammersmith and City Line); 30 mins into the City of London

Within 5 mins walk: a bustling high street with all the main retail stores (boots, primark, JD Sports, Sports Direct, McDonald’s, KFC, Superdrug etc), a large Sainsbury’s, Lidl, two gyms - better gym and the gym group (with another branch opening soon), lots of lovely restaurants

Rent and bills:

Rent: £600 per month excluding bills, to be paid on the 9th of each month

Bills around £133 per month (including heating, electricity, water, internet and council tax)

Taking over the remaining 3 months of a 6-month contract and the option to renew afterwards
