It is a vibrant area with a great array of restaurants and shops. The street is an English Heritage listed, grade II street from 1893. So, you will have the experience of staying in a real old London area.
The flat has large spacious rooms throughout and it's interesting in every corner. This Edwardian house has preserved its stained glass windows up the staircase giving a beautiful light throughout. The kitchen is a great place to eat with the whole family around the round table. There is a separate large living room.
There are three very large double bedrooms with king size beds and a single bedroom with a raised bed where another bed can be added. One of the king size beds can be split in two. All the beds are very comfortable and dressed with professionally cleaned and ironed linen.
There are two spacious bathrooms with showers, a separate toilet, a huge fully equipped kitchen, TV, a fast and reliable wireless internet connection, a lovely living room, utility room and terrace.
Washer and dryer are available. There is also a dishwasher in the kitchen. Two hair dryers for you to use and towels and linen provided.
There is also a cot available for babies under 1 years old.
A double bed in the living room when required.
The terrace is a nice place to relax and have a drink or coffee during the summer. There you can enjoy the architecture of this lovely listed and quiet street.
The flat has excellent transport services: West Kensington station is only 3 minutes walk, Barons Court Station and Olympia station are 5 and 7 mins walk respectively. The overground from Olympia will take you to North and East London within an hour. You can go to the next station, Shepherd's Bush, in order to take the Central Line and go to Westfield Shopping Mall which is next to the station.
This is a great location if you happen to come to Olympia Exhibition Hall for work.
We are near the High St Kensington, Holland Park, and The Royal Albert Hall. All the museums in South Kensington are just a few minutes on the tube or bus, walking or cycling are great alternatives. Holland Park is around the corner with open air opera during the summer, a great place to jog and take the children for a play in the sandpit or playground.
During the summer, from mid June to September, The Proms are on at the Royal Albert Hall. They are so much fun and a very London Experience to have. For £5 you can go into this gorgeous hall and listen to a World Class musicians and performers every single day, sometimes twice a day. It's just an 8 minutes bus ride from Olympia and a nice vibrant and colourful 20 minutes walk through High Street Kensington.
You can walk through one of the most beautiful residential areas in London and get to Notting Hill and Portobello Market.
Piccadilly and Soho, Trafalgar Square with all the Galleries are just a 25-30 mins bus ride too. The flat is just in an excellent location.
The area is safe and quiet during the night. Although within a couple of minutes you will be able to find a great choice of shops and restaurants.
