We are renting out our lovely and homely 2 bedroom flat. Situated off the top of Valley road, this flat is in easy access of Streatham Hill rail station (12 min walk) and Streatham rail station (15 min walk). Streatham Hill takes you directly to London Victoria in 17 mins and Streatham station has regular trains up to St Pancras with a travel time of under 30 mins. You can also walk to Tulse Hill in 15 mins and there are frequent buses to Brixton.
The flat itself is on the 2nd floor and comes with a balcony which can fit a table and chairs for 2 people to sit comfortably and enjoy meals and a drink; the balcony gets the sun from around 11.30am to the sun set and we frequently eat our dinner outside in the summer. The flat is comprised of an open plan kitchen and living room space (the kitchen is clearly separated from the living room) with a dining table that can fit 6 around if needed. There are also 2 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (one ensuite). We have just had the entire flat re-painted and the ensuite bathroom completed renovated. We have replaced all the white goods as well as the oven since we moved in 4 years ago and all are now Bosch.
The flat is carpeted throughout and has a warm, cosy feel. The EPC rating is C and the bills are subsequently low for heating as the flat is super cosy. There is also an allocated parking space in a gated car park, although their is ample free parking around the flats. The block of flats the property is in is in a gated complex so you can feel super safe!
There are a host of local amenities within a 10 min walk from the flat; Streatham high road has been re-generating over the last 4 years and there are many cafes, bars, pubs and supermarkets as well as gyms, clothes shops and restaurants. A local co-op has just opened 2 mins walk from the flat as well. For something quieter, Streatham rockery and the common are just a 10mins stroll down the road where you can go on walks. We can recommend our favourites!
We are looking for tenants who will treat the flat as their home. The flat is furnished with pretty much everything you will need and it has been our home for the last 4 years (the sofa is lovely and big and most importantly, super comfy!). Rent is £345 per week which includes water bills as we pay for these as part of the services charges for the flat). 12 month let or potentially 24 months, if interested.
