There are great cafes to have breakfast in the morning just around the corner from the flat and organic food supermarkets.
Downs park is 2 minutes away and is a lovely place to go for a jog or a walk. It’s a large green park loved by Londoners.
The Rosemary Branch is an award-winning pub that was once a Victorian music hall and is now a local favourite, just across the road from the apartment. As well as delicious food there is a small theatre which is worth checking out. Another popular pub is the De Beauvoir Arms, located on the border of Islington and Hackney. Head here for good food and good wine!
Also a 5 minute walk away is Sweet Thursday, a terrific pizzeria, and Bavo, great Mediterranean food, for when you don't feel like cooking! You can also walk to Dalston and Hoxton, vibrant areas in London heaving with fun things to do and explore.
A stone's throw down the road is De Beauvoir - a cluster of restaurants, pubs, delis, coffee shops and artisan food. The canal is also nearby - try The Towpath Cafe!
