Well connected by tube and bus, it makes it easy to pop over to the centre of town. Nearby Notting Hill is probably most famous for its annual carnival in August (and the rom-com), but there's a lot more to the neighbourhood than that. Let's start with the elegant streets, lined with Victorian townhouses - and Portobello Road, home to the world's largest antique market, second-hand shops and more. It's a great place to explore and bargain hunt. It's also a great area for eating (and drinking) out.
