Description
This comes with my family of fourteen plants that I've inherited over many years which would also need to be cared for but which in reality, is just watering them once every two weeks, slightly more in summer and less in winter. In the past I have been able to leave them for up to a month by several waterings prior to leaving so not too much of a burdon for better air quality.
Other than that, there are only two things that need to be mentioned. Firstly is that it is on the fourth floor without a lift. This personally for me is not a problem and keeps me fit but realise that this may not be suitable for everyone so needs to be mentioned. The other issue for some people is there is a fair amount of traffic on the road outside as connects to Battersea Bridge. Personally, I am practically unaware of it but needs mentioning. I do however have secondary glazing on all windows and being on the top floor, have some distance from the traffic.
Benefits inlcude:
Top floor so no one above clumping around.
The building and apartment are extremely secure from intruders.
The residence is very quiet.
Good, friendly and quiet neighbours.
South West facing with much light and reasonable views.
Battersea Bridge is outside with Battersea Park across the river and walks along the Thames embankment on both sides.
Supermarkets include Waitrose, Tesco, Sainsburys, Cooperative, Mark & Spencer and an almost all night news agent all within easy walking.
Saturday 9am-1pm has a farmers market at bottom of Ebury Street via 170 bus (see below) and 11am-4pm there is a fantastic food fair at York Sq top of Kings Road by Sloane Sq.
Sunday 10am-2pm is another farmers market at the Munster Road stop of 22 bus (see below) further down the New Kings road.
Pubs, Bars, Cafes, Restaurants are in abundance locally and there is some nightlife but wouldn't know much about that.
Bicycle shed can be used for cyclists but I generally keep mine on the street as use it almost daily.
Because of the urgency under which I find myself I have run out of time to finish all the things that need doing such as bedding, linen, towels, kitchen things, music station, radio, TV etc etc. I am happy to provide all such items but would prefer to discuss this with whomever is interested as it may be that you have your own preferences or requirements. I have also not hung any pictures or paintings which I do have but again realise that you may have your own preferences for such things.
I have the boiler on maintenance with British Gas and can otherwise arrange for a plumber at short notice.
I've since installed a new washing machine and fridge since the last EPC rating was done so presume them to be more efficient that their predecessors.
So please make contact if you would like to look after my home for an agreeable arrangement and can be flexible for the longer term.
Kind regards James. (Number Removed After Let)
