2 Bed Flat, Balham, SW12

This is my fantastic Victorian terrace 2-bed ground floor maisonette, with front and back gardens.  I lived in it for 11 years before moving out of London in 2018, since which time it has been let  

The flat is in the Hyde Farm area of Balham, to the east of Balham High Road and just north of the top of Tooting Bec Common.  I renovated and redecorated it in 2014, putting in underfloor heating, new wood floors, a new bathroom and a new kitchen.  I also opened out the living area to create a very large combined kitchen and living space with bi-fold doors onto the south-facing garden (which is my property - it is not shared with the upstairs flat.

The two bedrooms are more or less the same size, one at the front of the house and one a little further back.  The flat has plenty of period features, it's light and airy, and provides just over 1,000 sq ft of floor area.  It's in a great location - close enough to walk to the tube and local shops, bars and restaurants, but far enough from the noise to feel suburban.  There are parking spaces on the street as well as a secure metal locker in my front garden for bike etc.  The flat would suit either two co-habiting young professionals, or another young family, or two couples - there's room for any of those options.

I live with my family in Surrey and work in London - but I have a fair amount of lettings experience and my current tenants will give me a good reference!  I'm responsive, communicative and fair-minded: I plan to keep the flat for the long term so I would like to find some responsible, caring tenants who will look after the place.  I've had some very happy times in it and it has a good atmosphere.  Why not come and look around?
