We love animals so it is with a heavy heart when I say that No animals are allowed. It is a building policy so please do not ask.
As interior designers we have stripped the flat back and added a lot of very cool features making the most of every space whilst keeping that light airy feel. The flat itself is surprisingly quiet and the neighbors are all very nice.
The Hall way has a built in office area with storage and clothes rack that is operated on a pulley system for drying clothes.
The Bedroom has built in wardrobe and remote control lighting (never need to get out of bed to turn them off. Sooooo great!). The bed is a memory foam mattress that also doubles up as a storage space in the bed base.
The Lounge area has two big factory windows set into original raw brick walls, which really gives it that wow factor when you walk in. There is a 1950’s G-plan style sideboard, a McIntosh G-plan extendable table and a very comfortable sofa bed couch which is very easy to open and close. On the ceiling we have two infra-red heaters that are super energy efficient which can be controlled remotely or manually.
The kitchen has lots of storage space. We have a booster induction hob (please note that not all pots work on this type of hob. You will need to have steel pots/pans), an integrated dishwasher and brand new integrated washer/dryer. The Fridge freezer is more than enough for two people.
It is a 6-minute walk to Peckham Rye train station with connections to Victoria and the overground to Clapham Junction, Canada Water and Dalston, Hackney.
Peckham is a growing area with two rooftop bars, an outdoor cinema for those warm summer evenings, a £5 ticket cinema a short walk way and an array of bars/pubs, cafes and restaurants to suit all tastes.
A few minutes away is The Bussey building with its numerous attractions; the nightclub in the evenings, the yoga and art studios during the day and Copeland park activities at the weekends. Of course the galleries and exhibitions are a must see too.
A short walk will take you to the Peckham Rye common. It is a huge green space with tennis courts, manicured gardens and wooded areas. One of the best things about Peckham I would say.
Further afield we have Lordship Lane in Dulwich where you will find lots of boutique shops, cafes and restaurants and the weekend markets.
