A warm welcome awaits you in our large, friendly family home. We are offering flexible accommodation options, from a simple room rental to an arrangement with a more private living space (including a separate lounge), or even a setup for a small family. We're keen to find the right people and fit for our home.
About Our Home:Our property is a spacious, six-bedroom detached house located in a pleasant area of Liskeard. We have plenty of shared space to enjoy, ensuring you'll have room to relax, work, and socialise.
Shared Spaces: You will have shared use of two comfortable lounges (with potential for a third), a bright conservatory, a shared co-working space perfect for working from home, a large, well-equipped kitchen, multiple bathrooms, and a shared utility room.
Internet: We have very reliable, high-speed fibre internet (900mbps down / 110mbps up), perfect for working from home or streaming.
Outdoor Space: We have a large rear garden, driveway parking for two cars, and shared use of our hot tub.
Storage: We also have a cellar, and there is potential to use some of this for additional storage.
We are open to a few different arrangements depending on your needs:
Option 1 (For an Individual or Couple - More Private): This option is for an individual or couple without children. It includes a comfortable double bedroom (currently setup as a single) with a private ensuite bathroom. We can also reconfigure our living areas to provide you with a more private lounge space, separate from the main family lounges.
Option 2 (For a Parent/s with One Child - Family Setup): This option is designed for a single parent or a couple with one child. It includes two rooms: one comfortable double bedroom with a private ensuite bathroom for the parent(s), and a second bedroom for your child.
The monthly rent is inclusive of all standard bills (gas, electric, water, council tax, and internet), so you'll have one clear monthly payment.
We are open to discussing and sharing the cost of any extras, such as hiring a cleaner for the shared spaces or adding TV subscription services for everyone to use.
We are a lively household with two parents, three children (ages 4, 11, and 12), and three friendly cats (please be mindful of allergies!).
Ours is a neurodiverse household (Autism and ADHD) and an inclusive, LGBTQ+ friendly home with trans and different sexual orientation relationships. It's important to us that everyone feels respected and welcome.
We are looking for someone who wants to be part of a friendly, community-focused home, and we would ideally prefer someone looking for a long-term rental. We are very open to discussing decoration or layout changes to help you feel truly at home here.
