This beautiful terraced house offers a fresh, contemporary and decidedly nautical home. It is nestled away in the incredibly picturesque village of Lower Largo which is a jewel in the crown on the spectacular coastline known as the East Neuk of Fife. 

The house comprises a spacious bedroom downstairs with plentiful storage. The king size bed guarantees a great night’s sleep with its quality mattress. There is plentiful storage with built in wardrobes as well as a dressing table area. You will also find the shower-room downstairs – which has a jaunty and tropical feel.

Going up the paneled stair, you will come to the bright and sunny lounge which has pretty views and has furnishings inspired by its seaside setting. There is a romantic dining area for two, complete with a porthole, plentiful comfortable seating, a feature fire and a wall mounted smart TV. The separate but adjoining contemporary kitchen is well equipped and includes a dishwasher and washer/dryer.

 As well as the very sunny, south facing front garden with bistro table and chairs, there is also a lovely little sheltered garden to the rear with more dining seating, accessible from the lounge and adjoining kitchen so that you can enjoy al fresco meals sitting amongst the tropical palms!

The Wee Blue House is in a beautiful setting (in the most photographed street in the village as it sits under the old railway viaduct) with river views and is just a stone’s throw from the beach and everything that the picturesque and historic village of Lower Largo has to offer. Very nearby, there is the very popular Railway Tavern pub with beer garden and the Crusoe Hotel, right on the shoreline, which offers great gastro food as well as fine dining. There is also a very handy local grocery store – ideal to collect your fresh rolls and newspaper. 

Lower Largo is located near the beginning of the ‘East Neuk’ coastal walk. Head straight out and onto the coastal path and take in everything from historic towers and old salt mines en route to the neighbouring villages on the coastal path including Anstruther, Elie, St Monans, Pittenweem, Crail and St Andrews – all known for their colourful houses and fishing boats, as well as craft shops, stunning beaches, sailing and other water-based activities and plentiful dining options.

This is a unique home available for long term rental for a single or couple and is available from mid June. Sorry, no pets. Please note that the stairs mean that it may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.
