Bus stops are 1 minute away from the major bus routes to both universities ( Lancaster and Cumbria Universities) and the city center. It is a few minutes walk to the local supermarket (Booths) and there is also a takeaway, laundry and the hairdresser nearby. The newly refurbished Boot and Shoe pub is oposite the Booths supermarket. It takes under 10 minutes to reach Lancaster University by bicycle via a traffic-free bicycle path, and about 20 minutes by foot. There are large green fields close to the house. On-street parking for cars and motorbikes is available for free at the front of the house. Also, there is a big garden at the back and a place for bike storage.

The house has a shower room and a bathroom.

Kitchen has all the amenities (big fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, kettle) and the bathroom (with showers and toilets). The rooms have fitted in wardrobes with plenty of space, working tables, table lamps, chair and fast fibre Wi-Fi connection. All the rooms have brand new mattresses. New carpets have been fitted. Monthly cleaning of communal areas included.
