We have rooms available at Vajrapani Kadampa Meditation Centre in Birkby, just a short walk from Huddersfield town centre. Housed in a beautiful former Baptist church full of character, the centre offers a unique and welcoming living environment. There are eight rooms with shared Facilities 

Rent starts from £450 per month, including:

• All utility bills
• Wi-Fi
• Access to shared kitchen facilities
• Shared shower and toilet facilities
• Free attendance at all meditation classes for residents

Living at the centre provides the opportunity to be part of a friendly community dedicated to creating a calm, supportive, and harmonious atmosphere.

Please note that the centre is an alcohol-free and meat-free environment, and TVs are not permitted in resident rooms. We are looking for residents who have an interest in meditation and who support the centre’s aims, helping to maintain this special place for both visitors and residents.

To move forward, we’ll need you to complete an application form. The application includes information about our house guidelines and what to expect while staying with us. As a Buddhist centre, we ask residents to contribute where they can, keep their own room clean and help with cleaning the shared accommodation areas once a week. We aim to create a supportive, respectful, and harmonious living environment for everyone.
