This holiday home is ideal for families and mixed generation groups. It is alsoideal for the less able-bodied traveller or a wheelchair user, as there islevel parking beside the cottage, with one step into the property. Once inside the ground floor is level throughout (except for the family/games room which has one step down).

The woodland setting is ideal for children to play and dogs to enjoy in a safe enclosed environment. Up to two dogs can be brought for a small charge. There is abarbeque to allow families to enjoy outdoor living. All wood for the indoor logfire is included. Patio area has garden furniture with seating for six.Children will love to explore the woodland garden.
The garden allows for one tent to be erected free of charge. A 5 person tent can also be hired for a small charge.

Witchwood Holiday Cottage is located in the North West ofEngland very close to the exciting city life of Liverpool and just a short drive to the Roman City of Chester .  The Lake Districtand North Wales are both an easy drive from here and a great day out.
The cottage is situated in the sought-after area of Heswall in West Wirral. TheWirral Penninsula has a host of golf courses to suit allabilities and The Royal Liverpool Golf Course in Hoylake is just a 15minute drive from Witchwood. Thurstaston beach,West Kirby beach, the Marine Lake and Hilbre Island are idyllic whatever theweather. Aintree Racecourse, Everton and Liverpool stadia tours are an excitingday out for all the family.
The top attraction of Church Farm, Thurstaston, is only a 5 minute drive away or 20 minute walk. It providesfantastic entertainment for children of all ages – including adults! Activitiesinclude Pat a Pony, lots of activities with animals and tractor rides.
You can bring your own bikes or hire them in West Kirby and cycle along theWirral Way, along the promenade or discover all of the quaint and picturesquevillages on the Wirral such as Thornton Hough, Parkgate and Port Sunlightvillage.

Heswall is a coastal village which boasts many restaurants, bars and bistros catering for all tastes. Nearby West Kirby offers windsurfing, sailing and canoeing on the Marine Lake; it is a great place to explore during the day andit takes on a totally different hue in the evenings when the place comes alive with the locals enjoying meals and drinks at the many bars and eateries.
The Wirral is a golfers paradise, boasting 15 courses on this small peninsula. Thereare 6 country parks, 7 local nature reserves and the truly amazing Birkenhead Park (the first publicly funded civic park in Britain and designed by Sir Joseph Paxton who went on to design New York’s Central Park). With country walks, excellent pubs and cafes providing refreshments, and quaint local villages the Wirral is a great location.

Whilst here you may like to visit Cheshire Oaks outlet village and pick up some designer bargains or get some local culture by exploring Port Sunlight Village and The Lady Lever Art Gallery .
