2 Bed Flat, Glasgow, G42
The flat is ideal for a single person, a couple or a flat share.
The flat has been renovated in a neutral and minimalist style. All rooms apart from the kitchen have the original wooden floorboards, fitted curtains and ceiling lamps. In the living room there are two lamps for reading attached to the wall. A new boiler has been installed in 2017 and the flat has been well maintained throughout.
At the moment the flat is semi-furnished. It comes with two sofas, a desk of drawers and a dining table as well as a large plant in the kitchen. All of these items can be removed. Alternatively, a wooden frame for a double sized mattress can be added.
The flat is at a 2 minute walking distance from Cross Hill train station. Trains into Glasgow Central take 10 minutes, alternatively it is a 15 minute cycle ride. Govan Hill is a mixed neighborhood. It is cheap and attracts all sorts of people, including first time buyers, artists, immigrants and creative types. Some parts are impoverished and rough, however the neighborhood is also home to Glasgow's finest sourdough bakery, an abundance of charity shops, Glasgow's coolest curry place, trendy bars in neighbouring Strathbungo and a wealth of good cafe's on Victoria road.
The flat is available from the 8th of July and viewings will be held for four days from the 2nd of July.
