We’re letting our three-bedroom, end-of-terrace house located on a quiet street in central Exeter. It’s under ten minutes’ walk to the city centre, just over ten minutes to Exeter St David’s and another ten minutes along Hoopern Valley to the University of Exeter campus.

Things we like about the house:

  • great location;
  • large, light, newly fitted kitchen (autumn 2020), including large skylight, small dining area overlooking garden, solid beech worktops, and full-sized dishwasher;
  • a garage, too narrow to fit a car, but plenty of room for bikes/surfboards/canoes/wheelie bins, etc (garage has electricity);
  • small south-west facing garden, ideal for growing a bit of veg and eating outside;
  • Hoopern Valley! Lovely large green area at the end of the street.
Potential drawback: 
  • We share a wall with a student house. We've been here three years without issue (our baby and construction projects much worse for them), but if this is a dealbreaker for you, we wanted to mention it. 

On the ground floor you’ll find the entry hall with coat hooks, dining room with built-in bookshelves and alcove cupboards, living room with built-in bookshelves and alcove cupboard, kitchen, bathroom (with shower over bath, and large closet), and under-the-stairs cupboard. Upstairs is the master bedroom and two smaller bedrooms, one of which is currently used as a home office. The master bedroom and second bedroom each have built-in storage. All rooms have been recently decorated.

The house is currently furnished and we'd prefer to let it this way but this is negotiable. 

Kitchen appliances include fridge/freezer, gas hob, electric oven, full-sized dishwasher, and washing machine.
