The Area
A well maintained Victorian semi in a quiet, safe suburb just 8 minutes from East Croydon station. Direct trains into London Bridge, Victoria, Cannon Street, Kings Cross from as little as 13 minutes.

A Co-op, Indian, Chinese takeaway and excellent Vietnamese restaurant all within a 2 minute walk. There are a number of good local pubs within walking distance. Central Croydon and all its shops and eateries are a 20 minute walk or short bus ride.

With a 10 minute drive or train ride you can be deep in the Surrey countryside, with hundreds of miles of rural footpaths and country pubs.

The Room
A large private double room on the first floor with modern fittings, memory foam mattress, and twin double-glazed windows.

The Property
A high pressure shower room with toilet, and separate bathroom with toilet are shared with other tenants.

Downstairs there is an open plan dining and living area with 46” TV and working open fireplace. The large kitchen includes gas hobs, electric oven, American-style fridge/freezer and ample over-counter storage.

There is a cellar for storage of bikes, etc.

The garden includes a large well-kept lawn, brick BBQ, large picnic table and bench seating. There are raspberry, strawberry and rhubarb plants and tenants are encouraged to use the available beds to plant additional fruit and vegetables.

There is roadside parking outside the house, subject to permits Monday - Saturday. Alternatively, there is free parking on neighbouring roads.

Bills
The following services are arranged by the landlord and recharged ‘at cost’ (currently £60 total per person per month): council tax, super fast 500MB internet, a TV license for the communal TV, and a fortnightly cleaner for communal areas. Energy and water bills are metered and paid directly by tenants.
