Directions

 

From Chester City centre head out of town towards the station on Pepper St. Follow the one-way system to the bars roundabout and take the 3rd exit onto Tarvin Road. Steam Mill Street is the second turning on the left.

 

OR

 

From North Wales to Ellesmere Port on the A55 come off @ junction 39, at the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Christleton Road which then turns into Tarvin Road. Due to the central reservation / busy traffic flow head straight for the City and do a full circle around the bars roundabout to go back up Tarvin Road the way you have just came from. Once you are back on Tarvin Road take the 2nd left into Steam Mill Street.

Please plan ahead. We recommend parking up safely in a local car park and walking to the viewing. There is a registered short stay car park on Steam Mill Street opposite Granary Wharf. However, City Road offers 1-hour parking during the day (check the displays yourself!), Steam Mill Street can be found by walking down the canal towpath steps with the canal on your left hand side. Take the second right into Steam Mill Street and Granary Wharf is on your right.
