Located 3 minutes from lovely riverside walks on St Mary's Island, Medway. The rooms are part of a vibrant, relaxing modern house, 15 minutes pleasant walk from the Medway universities and Historic Dockyard Chatham.
The room is £575 pcm (3m x 3.30m) for longer term stays. Price for shorter term can be negotiated. This is considerably cheaper than existing student accommodation such as at Liberty Quays or on campus and arguably, much pleasanter. Shorter term lodgings available for £265 p/w
Utility bills, water, TV and internet are all included in the rent.
The accommodation offered includes a lodgers' only shared bathroom (as live in landlord I have my own separate ensuite bathroom). There is also a separate ground floor toilet for occasional guests.
The lodger will also have use of the stylish first floor including tastefully furnished lounge; mini library with balcony; capacious kitchen and dining room and sunny south facing mature garden - ideal for relaxing in, eating during the summer months or doing yoga in.
The communal living areas have lots of plants to bring a positive and calming vibe to help soothe the challenges that life sometimes brings and the lodger would be expected to do their bit to keep these areas clean, tidy and well maintained.
I can be a sociable person and love social gatherings with friends and family (though am mindful of covid restrictions), but I also need a quiet and harmonious place I can retreat to afterwards. So the ideal lodger would be someone whose social and romantic life doesn’t disturb this feeling of the house primarily as my sanctuary.
And as a lodger living with me, please remember to respect my home. And also, to please take the usual precautions due to covid-19 on entering the house.
The lodger should be mindful and respectful as well as friendly. And also, be comfortable living with people from a variety of ethnic backgrounds and sexualities and gender identities. Also, there is extra likelihood of being offered a room if you are all the above plus vegetarian/vegan!
To reserve a room a returnable deposit of £650 is required.
