Located 150 metres from Magdalene College Porters Lodge on Castle Hill opposite the Castle Mound. Modernised in 2006 with:

And partially again in 2018-20:

The property is shared with three other tenants (one twenty something postgraduate employee of Amazon, one twenty something University of Cambridge postgraduate lady theological student and one University of Cambridge postgraduate gentleman student of archeology) and the landlord in the kitchen, bathroom or back yard from time to time. Rent is paid three months in advance (though there is no deposit) with the first three months due to complete the contract and then recurring payments monthly thereafter commencing from month two with no payments, therefore, at the back end of the term of the contract.

Owing to the elegant sufficiency of space in the house and in particular the presence of just one bathroom, in other words for the benefit of the other inhabitants, the room is not offered to couples.

• The Ready Room is 2.5 x 3.8 metres (9.5 square metres) and is available from 27-Mar-2020. It has a carpeted floor with a modestly sized desk, a built in wardrobe and a large twin (120 cm wide 200 cm long) size Japanese style (by which I simply mean low and without a headboard) bed and central heating.
