As you cruise up the private illuminated driveway and get your first glance of Torvale Lodge, a fully detached 6 bedroom bungalow close to Plymouth, you’ll know you made the right decision to stay here. Accommodating up to 12 guests, the big car park means there’s plenty of space for everyone to park, take a deep breath after a long journey and get ready to relax. Because that’s what this property is designed to help you do.

Just one glance at the huge sofas in the lounge and you won’t be able to resist sitting or lying down. You can all gather in here to socialise, maybe watch the widescreen TV or just catch some me-time.

The kitchen/diner is next to the lounge and it’s in here that you will find everything you need to cater for a group or just look after yourself. There are 2 cookers, 2 dishwashers (so no one need waste precious time washing up) and plenty of storage space across 6 larders and 6 fridge/freezers. There’s also a 55 inch smart TV in here and a dining table that seats 8.

Onto the super 6 bedrooms, all of which are smartly furnished and well equipped, each with its own smart TV and built-in DVD player. Like the rest of the house, you’ll have unlimited access to super fast BT broadband which can handle the demand even if all 12 guests go (Email Removed After Let) of the rooms has an ensuite, so if you’re the one who wins the draw to pick their bedroom first, go for room 3, but really all 6 rooms will delight all guests.

When it comes to freshening up, as well as the ensuite, there’s a family bathroom, plus two shower rooms and a further WC, plenty to avoid any queues in the mornings or evenings.

And what of the outside? There’s plenty here too including a smart timber sun deck that’s a real sun trap and has a fridge for your drinks plus a gas barbecue. There are also patio areas at the front and back of the lodge. Look out for the brand new mini-golf course, ready for use in Easter 2020!

A couple of other spaces worth mentioning are the secure bike shed, soon to have a mixture of pushbikes, scooters & go-karts for you to use later this year, and the laundry room where you’ll find washers and dryers, handy for those longer stays.



GUEST ACCESS

If you book the whole lodge, your group of up to 12 will have full and exclusive use of the property and its extensive gardens. Rooms at Torvale Lodge can be let out on an individual basis, depending on availability. As this is a bungalow, there is step-free access to the property and plenty of parking for all guests.

The hosts of Torvale Lodge are happy to leave you to enjoy their beautiful property for the duration of your booking. However, should you require assistance or have questions, their contact details will be provided.



OTHER THINGS TO NOTE

Torvale Lodge is fully cleaned before and after every booking. For contractors staying long-term, mid-stay cleans can be arranged for an extra fee.

Please note that to use the facilities on the sundeck, there is a £70.00 additional fee. The hot tub is subject to availability on one night stays.

HOUSE RULES

No smoking anywhere in the property.

Pets are allowed to stay in the house as long as they are kept downstairs, a small extra fee will occur.

No loud noise between 10PM and 7AM.

No events are to be held in the house, especially hen or stag parties.

Children are welcome to stay, but please let us know in advance how many will be staying so we can make the necessary arrangements.

Nestling on the outskirts of Brixton just five minutes east of Plymouth, Torvale Lodge is a fully detached property in a beautiful part of Devon.

There is so much to enjoy in the lodge, but outside its grounds you will find pretty waterside villages and sandy beaches to explore and enjoy nearby. The nearest village has a great pub and fish&chip shop plus a restaurant too.

And you’ll definitely want to take a trip into Plymouth while you’re here - it’s just a 10 minute drive away, so all of the following any many more attractions are within easy reach: Plymouth city centre’s shops, bars, restaurants, and entertainment venues (including the Theatre Royal), Plymouth Business District, Plymouth Seafront and Plymouth Hoe. You will also be close to Dartmoor and other areas of natural beauty.
