I’m renting out a single room in my home in BS14, a peaceful part of South Bristol. The room comes fully furnished with a single bed that can pull into a double and a chest of drawers. You’ll have full access to the house: a fully equipped kitchen with everything you might need, a beautiful big garden, a garage where you can store your things and a parking spot on a private drive.

It’s me, my husband, our 2 daughters (19 months and 8 weeks) and our 2 dogs (both very friendly). The room available is on the bottom floor next to the kitchen. We have a toilet downstairs and the main bathroom upstairs. We’ve lived here for three years and absolutely love the area. It’s quiet, safe, and full of nature – perfect for walks, cycling, or just enjoying a slower pace. There’s a bus stop a minute away that takes you into town in about 20 minutes. We have a local coop close by and close to 2 big super stores.

Why choose this house above all? This isn’t one of those houses with six or seven tenants. You will only share with one family.

I am looking for one respectful, kind, professional adult to share our home with – someone who doesn’t work from home and ideally isn’t afraid of dogs. Female is our preference. The vibe in our house is open and friendly. We are usually in bed early so the downstairs will be yours most evenings, we also have a caravan which we like to go away as often as we can so some weekends you will also have the house to yourself. We respect personal space and independence.

Rent is £600 a month for one person, with all bills included, which is pretty rare for Bristol these days. We woild prefer short-term at first (one to six months), just to make sure it’s a good fit for both of us, but long-term is definitely possible if things go well.
