The house is about 5 minutes walk from the school, library, park, playgrounds and main shopping area, including the big Tesco in Bar Hill. 

Access to Bar Hill is by car off the A14, or by bicycle (there is a dedicated off-road cycle way from just outside Cambridge all the way to Bar Hill), or by bus (there is a bus stop at the end of Appletrees, and a main bus stop in the centre near Tesco). 

Bar Hill is a very friendly village, and people say hello, and are very welcoming. 

The house has recently been renovated, and has a new boiler and fuse box, and most of the rooms have been redecorated. 

Short term lets are possible, and pets are welcome providing they do not destroy the furniture or garden!
