The Quantock Hills are well-known for their stunning and diverse heathland and ancient oak woods, which are home to a wide variety of species. There are lots of options for walking, biking, and cycling for those who enjoy being outside, and the Blackdown Hills and Exmoor National Park are also easily accessible.
West Bagborough boasts a bustling community with a well-liked pub, a village hall, and an active cricket team. While a doctor's office and a variety of stores, including a Co-op, paper shop, farm shop, and post office, can be found in the nearby villages of Bishops Lydeard and Crowcombe.
Bishops Lydeard, Crowcombe, and Stogumber all have elementary schools. The county town of Taunton, which is about eight miles distant, is home to three top-notch private schools: Taunton School, Kings College, and Queens College.
