The Area

There is a bus stop close to the village shop, and the bus travels into Oxford city centre. The village is also home to one of the most highly regarded primary schools in Oxfordshire. The school is an easy, toddler friendly, stroll from the cottage. There are plenty of young families in the village, professional couples, and older more established members of the community too.


The Property

Rosemary Cottage, is situated on a quiet, no through lane. It is part of a row of old brick terraced cottages, with friendly neighbours. The lane leads down to the Loch, with peaceful waterside walks.  

The cottage is warm, cosy and inviting.

Upstairs there are two double bedrooms, the first is a small double, the master is bigger and has a small feature fireplace. Both rooms have built in storage space. There is also a bathroom on the landing, with natural light from a window, a big oval bath, heated towel rail and a Triton shower.

The back garden is tranquil spot, with plenty of bird song, and is accessed through the kitchen stable door, up a few steps and along a path. There is a lean-to style shed at the back of the garden, and a wooden Wendy house for children to use as well. The oil tank, for fuelling the central heating, is housed at the end of the garden, out of sight, behind bamboo screening. There is also a wooden decking, for use in the summer months for eating out and enjoying the sunshine.
