A short walk uphill to main Brighton  Sussex hospital and downhill home, plus the all night no. 7 bus makes it handy for any hospital staff. 
All buses also go to the Pier and Old Steine making it very handy for Pool Valley Coach stop for staff or frequent travellers from Gatwick.
The no. 7 all night service and the very frequent no. 1 bus. go there. The Old Steine provides buses to almost everywhere too. There is also a dedicated bus to the university from outside the LIDL in Arundel Road.
  Residential parking is available on our side of Eastern Road on request with payment from the town hall. Payment section on the opposite side is £5 per day.
But with Brighton's great bus services a car is optional.
Along the coast road there are many buses to Eastbourne stopping and interesting places to visit.
A walk along the seafront (or a cycle ) will take you to the Brighton Pier following the tracks of the Volks railway. About 15 minutes on foot at an average pace.
Behind the house is a large green belt area up over the hill. Ideal  for sports. Fun for playing football , cricket etc.with tennis courts & great kite flying with beautirul views
Just a short walk away is the Steiner School.Not far up Arundel Road is the local school newly provided with computer labs.All buses go past Brighton College.
