About East Bergholt
The house is in East Bergholt, Suffolk. The village is most famous for its links with John Constable, who lived in the village and painted scenes from the valley between East Bergholt and Dedham. The rural scene from the famous haywain painting is only a 20 minutes walk away.
The village has a junior and high school with excellent results. There are a number of other private schools nearby. The village also boasts a well stocked shop, a tea room, GP/medical centre, pharmacy, bakery, butcher and five public houses. Accessing East Bergholt
Half way between Ipswich and Colchester, the village is easily accessible from the A12. London is also an hour away on the main train line from neighbouring Manningtree.
