Room in a Shared House, Tanyard Place, CM20

We live in a new town house very close to Harlow town centre and the train station, which is direct to London, Stansted Airport and Cambridge. The house is located on a new estate (where the original Harlow Pool used to be) and the front door opens out directly onto the town park. We sleep on the top (2nd) floor along with our daughter, and we are looking for a professional female lodger for our large double room (measuring 14 and a 1/2 feet by 9 and a 1/3rd feet) on the 1st floor. We also have a lovely couple staying in a room on the ground floor. A single occupant would be ideal, but a couple would also be welcome at a slightly higher cost. You would have full use of the house, including large modern kitchen, lounge and all facilities including oven, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV and broadband etc. All bills included, and food and landline use are optional extras.

The room is currently unfurnished, but we can negotiate it being furnished at a slightly higher cost.

You would pretty much have a bathroom to yourself (there are 3 toilets in the house), although the bath/shower would be for communal use by the other two lodgers, and by us occasionally for baths (we have our own en-suite on the top floor).

My husband works away 3-4 days a week so it would be really nice to have additional company. We both like films and music, cooking, and enjoy a mix of quiet nights in and the occasional social night out. We have 1 friendly cat who spends a lot of his time outside, and he is very good with people.
