[Ensuite (massive wardrobe) in 2 Bed. Flatshare]
Hello flatshare seeking creatures,
My flatmate decided that it is high time he moved to his own place, and so there is a spare room. The flat is a really good deal, since we have a “loyalty discount” from the landlord (that’s how he calls it!) given the length of our staying. Everyone else in the building pays around £150 extra per month than we do.
THE FLAT
+ probably the best I have lived in London: spacious (2 rooms & lounge with a nice view of London), 2 bathrooms (a rare find!), sunny and really really quiet
+ the place is nearby the best bits of east London: the hip Dalston & Shoreditch area, Columbia Road flower market (& shops), as well as Stoke Newington, which is the haven for artsy design items
+ well connected: 7 minutes away from bus stop [Middleton road], and 5 minutes to overground [Haggerston]. there is also a corner shop 1 minute away.
+ rent directly from landlord: which means no agency fees, just £75 for a reference check. btw, the landlord is one of the best ones I have ever had, he fixes everything immediately and he is always available
- the flat is on the 3rd floor and does not have a lift [unfortunately not wheelchair accessible].
THE FLATMATE
Originally from Greece (around Thessaloniki), I spent the past 7 years studying/living in Paris, London, Cambridge and DC. I was in Greece when the crisis happened, in the UK when Brexit was voted, and in the States when Trump won: because of these I have been called a Horseman of the Apocalypse but I assure you I have no connection to these incidents. I am just a biologist turned psychologist turned cognitive neuroscientist, currently doing a PhD in (Email Removed After Let) a poet (with side projects in conceptual poetry/art), poetry translator (my latest project is an online anthology of ***** poems translated in Greek) and amateur photographer (& photoshop-er).
