Where is the flat located: it is in the center of Notting Hill, 2 streets (1min) from the famous Portobello Road but without the noise.
It is located in a secluded square that has something unique in London, a playground right in front of the flat. 10 minutes to the closest tube station which is Westbourne Park (Hammersmith City and Circle line). 12 minutes from Notting Hill Gate (Central, Circle and District line). 

Our local pub is The Castle on Ledbury Road.  Espresso: for your favourite coffee fix go down to Coffee Plant on Portobello Rd.
To See:The Portobello Road:The famous street market road which runs for about 2 miles (3.2km). It has different sections: antiques, fruit and vegetables, foods to go, 2nd hand clothes and it finishes at Golborne road where some of London's best street vendors are located and the delicious Lisboa patisserie is. The market is open all days except Thursdays and Sundays.

Museums: all the Kensington Museums (V&A, Natural History Museum and Science Museums) are within walking distance (about 35min).Shopping: Oxford street is 3 tube stops away, Westfield Shopping Center (one of Europe's biggest shopping malls) is 2 tube stops away.Transport:Buses: there are numerous buses (numbers 23, 7 and 17 to name a few) which are all going towards either Kensington, Holborn (British Museum) or Piccadilly Circus.

The Flat:It is on the 3rd floor of a Victorian house built in the 1890's. Unlike many houses in the area ours has a very nice common area and entrance.There are 2 bedrooms, one with a King Size bed and 1 with a double sofa bed, there is also a foldable bed.

In the bathroom there is a big modern shower with all the amenities. A separate toilet with a sink is located next door.
The kitchen has also all the modern amenities.

The living room has a TV and a stereo that can be used either with airplay or by plugging your ipod in. There is very fast cable wifi (120Mb) everywhere and an Amazon Fire TV with Netflix and many other channels.

Safety: the area is very safe and is one of the only areas in London that still has a community feel. We know almost all our neighbours and very different from other parts of London you will see children playing outside and people chatting to each other.We think you will love renting our flat and getting to know our neighbourhood and make it yours in no time.

A Parking Permit is easily obtained from Kensington and Chelsea town hall: with eg. a bank statement showing the address and a driving license. You can use the permit in the whole of Kensington and Chelsea borough.
